Six ICC members have competed in the Olympic Games, two have been non-competing members of the U.S. Olympic Team, and one has served as an official at the Games:
- 1940: William Collis qualified for the team but did not compete due to the impending war.
- 1956: Edward Houston, Robert O'Brien, and Kenneth Wilson competed.
- 1960: John Wolters, Robert O'Brien, and Kenneth Wilson competed. Eric Feicht was the U.S. team's boatman, travelling with the boats for safekeeping.
- 1964: Eric Feicht was the U.S. team's head coach.
- 1972: Steve Kelly competed.
- 1976: Steve Kelly competed.
- 1980: Steve Kelly made the team, but did not compete because the U.S. boycotted the Games.
- 1984: Bret Young competed. Steve Kelly was an official for the International Canoe Federation.
- 1996: Steve Kelly was an official for the International Canoe Federation.
- 2000: Steve Kelly was an official for the International Canoe Federation.
